A gem in rural Oregon
As soon as you walk into this place it's clear there's a artist int he family. It's a beautiful cabin. Much of the woodwork appears to be custom. It feels warm and welcoming. The grounds are as interesting as the house itself. Hosts have gone above and beyond to make sure everything is understandable.

Amazing Place - Comfortable Cabin Close to Crater Lake NP
Great place to stay for a visit to Crater Lake. 25 min drive to NP. Very, very clean. Woodwork, wood floors, comfortable Sleep Number beds, outdoor fireplace, outdoor shower, horseshoe pits and well equipped kitchen make this a 5-star stay. One of the best VRBO rentals we have ever done. We cooked breakfasts, took lunches up to the NP and came back to cook dinners. Played cards, watched movies and roasted S’mores on the outdoor fireplace. Great for 2 couples or a family with a few kids. Only 1 bathroom to share. Would definitely stay here again. Awesome place. Memorable weekend.

Perfect in Every Detail
We had thought about a visit to Crater Lake but didn’t have any firm plans until I came across a review of the Red Blanket Creek Cabin. After looking through the photos we signed up for the only days remaining in May. When we arrived and began exploring the yard and cabin we were amazed at all the details that added to the comfortable feel of the property. We didn’t have a lot planned for this trip, a drive to Crater Lake and a few of the local hikes to waterfalls so we had plenty of time to just enjoy the cabin. The plan worked out well since one of our days it was raining all day. That turned out to be perfect as we took advantage of the stereo turntable and huge collection of LP’s. When it came time to return home, we realized that we had become quite attached to the area and had a hard time leaving. Thank you for all that went in to making this such a wonderful place to visit. One other suggestion to other visitors, the huckleberry pie at Beckie’s Cafe is delicious, make every effort to go there and give it a try. (It’s not always available). Brent & Nan.

A week near Crater
We spent a week at red blanket. The cabin was excellent and we enjoyed our stay. Definitely off the beaten path but very accommodating. Very well maintained and stocked. Many outdoor hiking trails and eco recreation options.
