Romantic & Private Cabin, W/breakfast on Rogue River, 1 hr From Crater Lake

Riverfront cabin in Trail with patio
Nestled on two acres along the banks of the Rogue River, the Rogue River Lodge is one of the earliest known lodges built in the Upper Rogue Valley that is still in existence today. Completed in 1937 as part of the original lodge, the cabin has been lovingly restored to reflect the ambiance of the mid 1930's era. Step back into a simpler time with our one bedroom cabin with amenities that include an antique kitchenette, bathroom, sitting room and French doors that open onto a spacious deck, just feet away from the Rogue River.

Enjoy a peaceful afternoon on the deck watching for bald eagles flying and salmon jumping or just drift off to sleep listening to the light rapids of the Rogue.

This cozy home-away-from -home sleeps up to four persons, with a queen bed in the bedroom, and a double fold out futon bed in the living area. Enjoy a delicious breakfast delivered each morning (valid up to 4 guests). We have recently added a riverside hot tub and dry/moist 2 person sauna for our guests' enjoyment.

The manicured grounds also provide an excellent venue for family reunions, weddings, anniversary celebrations and more with potential onsite tent camping, RV and boat parking.

Rogue River Lodge offers an amazing range of things to do in the nearby area. Whether it’s a round of golf, fishing, hiking or wine tasting in the summer or skiing, snowmobiling or snowshoeing in the winter there are plenty of opportunities to explore the sights and tastes of the region, year round.

The Rogue River Lodge has received 2012 Certificate of Excellence Award as well as Jackson County / Medford Chamber of Commerce 2012 Small Business Excellence award, voted 2nd Best Lodge in Southern Oregon in 2011, one of the top wedding venues in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

**The cabin is not ADA and does have one small step. It is adjacent to a riverside event venue and event center which is popular during the summer and on a public river access for boaters.

Keywords: The cabin is ideal for tourists & locals - located just 30 minutes from Medford, and 50 miles to Crater Lake, minutes from Lost Creek Lake, and a short drive to Prospect and Union Creek.
Rooms open to patios. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations.

Trip w/ Senior parents
This place was so special, full of character, beauty, peaceful. Wanted to take my parents somewhere special. Found it here! Anne came in with an amazing breakfast we ate on the deck next to the river. So Perfect 🌟❤️

20th Anniversary
Our stay was incredible! Anne was wonderful! The place was so warm and inviting. When we arrived she was waiting for us. The cabin is even more beautiful then the pictures. As we walked into the cabin there are so many things to look at. Cute antiques reminding you of simpler times. As we sit outside in the rocking chairs on the porch watching the river go by with the gorgeous scenery and listening to the sounds of nature. (Lol Including the rafters, they were so much fun to watch) We live in Northern California and started our vacation along the Oregon Coast. With all that we did that weekend by the time we got to the cabin we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub or sauna. All we wanted to was sit and relax after we came back from dinner. Anne made us a wonderful ham and cheese quiche for breakfast. We enjoyed that as we watched the morning fishermen and rafters starting there fun day. The property is so gorgeous that I took pictures for my sister who is getting married to show her. (She lives in medford) My husband and I have found our new favorite spot. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Relaxation on the Rogue River
Wish we could have stayed MUCH longer ... two nights was not enough! Ann was a lovely hostess, and her breakfasts on the deck were delicious. Very highly recommend!!

5/5 Excellent

Wonderful getaway!
Loved every detail of our stay here! Anne was great - we met right at check-in and she gave us a tour of the cabin, then left us on our own, but would ask us how we were doing and if we needed anything if she saw us. She made the best breakfast - eggs with goat cheese the first morning and a breakfast burrito on the second morning. We ate each meal on the patio overlooking the river. We had beautiful sunshine during the stay, although a bit cooler, but no rain so I was very happy. Overall, we loved the rustic details of the cabin and the property. All the details/relics inside the cabin were so charming, and our stay was exactly how I had hoped it would be! We made time to sit by the river, used the hot tub, made a fire, scrolled through the book collection, sauna, firepit with smores, lounged on the zero gravity chairs, and grilled our dinner the second night. We really wanted to experience everything the property offered. And the sauna was a nice treat! Felt so refreshed after. We even got outside on the second day and did some exploring nearby - went to the Lost Creek Lake dam and drove up to the Rogue River Gorge Falls. We made wonderful memories here and I will be planning to book another stay within the next year, hopefully!
