“It’s a steal location for nature lovers, tree huggers and general lovers of good service. The rooms are excellently laid out and have a super selection of drinks, hot chocolate, tea,coffees. The Bathrooms look and feel modern and have a high standard of fixtures and fittings. Very hard to find fault with this venue as Lucy and all the staff without exception go out of their way to please and accommodate your stay without being intrusive or overbearing. “No breakfast available despite being listed as such. Previous reviews mention staff but there were none. Room was fairly clean and comfortable. Entry via key code which means the same code for the main door and the room door - has someone unlock my room when I was in it. Not very safe and very poor for the money. Would not recommend. ”

“A lovely old grade 2 listed house. Excellent location for Poole Quay and harbour. Parking in visitor’s public car park just across the road. Overnight parking is very reasonable. David was a fabulous host with plenty of stories to tell and the house is full of interesting “stuff” that he has collected. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Our room on the second floor was very small and hot, but the others are bigger. Best to ask David before you book. Would definitely stay again.”
