"We chose the Greatt Hotel for its location - 1 block from the Shilin Night Market (one of the best in Asia) and close to the Shilin train station - straight shot to CKS Memorial and convenient 15-minute bus to National Palace Museum. It is a bit spartan, but the rooms are clean and the bathroom was great. Reception was very nice and useful but did not speak English - the use of Google Translate solved all problems. I definitely recommend this hotel."

"Convenient and affordable updated facilities. It is fairly no frills but provided all essentials. Bathroom ceilings above the shower/Tubs have visible mold growth. Otherwise very clean.
