Our stay at Cielo Lodge was absolutely unforgettable and exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made the experience extra special. The food was another highlight of our trip — every meal was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The local ingredients and creative dishes gave us a true taste of Costa Rica, and dining with such breathtaking surroundings made it even more memorable. Cielo Lodge offers an amazing variety of activities, making it easy to experience the beauty and adventure of Costa Rica. The customer service was outstanding from the moment we arrived—every staff member was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking, with beautifully maintained rooms and landscaping, stunning views of Arenal Volcano, and countless hot springs and pools to enjoy. There are so many amenities that there’s truly something for everyone, from relaxing in the thermal pools to enjoying the restaurants, wildlife, and activities around the property. The location is perfect for exploring the La Fortuna area while still feeling like a peaceful, luxurious retreat. What a beautiful lodge. Well maintained, great hiking trail and staffs were all helpful. The drive at night was a big scary, due to the narrow and twisty roads, along with rain and fog. Best to drive up before dark .
