"No complaints. It's an Ibis so you know what to expect, but the bed is comfy, the location was convenient, and the room clean. My only comments were we had issues with some TV channels, but it was the morning when checking out, so not a big deal. However, it would have been nice for the bar to be open to maybe midnight, or a little later, so when you get back, the option is open if you fancy another drink."

"The room was originally quite underwhelming. Parts of the hotel are in desperate need of being refurbished. But they moved me to a different room, and I was very happy with it. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was not included, but well worth the cost. There were plenty of warm options, and they were all delicious - a true English breakfast. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the naval museum and Gunnery Quays. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. I would happily stay there again."

"Very conveniently located for shopping, restaurants, the Historic Dockyard and transport services to the Isle of Wight. Parking was easily accessible and convenient in the very close by multi storey. We did need to move room during the stay due to a water leak from the room next door. We were out for the day when this happened but the staff moved everything and kept us fully informed along the way. Really excellent service! "

"Very helpful check-in. Room was perfectly fine for a night before the Great South Run. Excellent location. Arrive early and get a parking spot out the front! Shared bathroom, but we knew that."
