"Our entire holiday staying at the Riu Palace was nothing short of perfection. I cannot say enough how utterly incredible this place is. We stayed for a week and we had a partial sea view jr suite, our balcony overlooked palm trees and floral bushes and all you can hear is waves crashing from afar and birds tweeting it was beyond peaceful. The room itself was beautiful, the bed was ridiculously comfy, bathroom was spotless, shower was amazing and the refillable fridge was an added bonus! The staff couldn’t be more lovely, so polite and friendly and helpful from the pool staff to the bar staff and the kitchen staff, all were amazing. WiFi wasn’t the strongest but who cares when you’re in a place like Mauritius! You want to switch off from the world. There are 4 or 5 restaurants you can book however we found we were only able to book 1 of them over the time we stayed and realised it’s because they only have a limited amount of tables each day in comparison to the amount of people staying, BUT it really didn’t matter, the buffet was INSANE!! fresh curry and rice from the Indian buffet, fresh noodles and meat or veg dishes straight from the wok, fresh made pizza and pasta, fresh grilled fish, steak, roast chicken, duck, salad GALORE, they even had fresh made sushi the one evening!! Bar staff making any cocktail you like, a big selection of wines and spirits, soft drinks, juices, mimosa’s at breakfast, honestly I cannot praise the Riu Palace enough, we will be back 1000%!!"

"Love the food served every day at the buffet! Although the first day when we checked in the room had some mosquitoes, after we changed the room everything was perfect! We were very closed to the pool and clean towel basket, and restaurant is not far only 5min walk, the spa even closer:) WE LOVE THE SPA SO MUCH! The massage, staff, facilities and the environment are amazing! Love the jacuzzi and outdoor sunbathing bed and shower area. We also had the lunch at Lakaze, enjoyed the seafood grill and the service, would love to eat dinner there next time! Stayed at Ephelia, and I’m not regretting stay with Constance again this time! It’s an incredible stay for family trip:)"

"We absolutely loved our stay at LUX Belle Mare. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean, and our room was spotless and well equipped. Even after checking out, we were able to use all the facilities for the day, and the hotel provided a shower room before our evening flight. We’d definitely recommend staying here."

"We had a beachfront room with ocean view which was lovely. Spacious, clean and well equipped. Lovely views. Food was fabulous, plenty of choice and great quality. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from at the pool and on the beach, never any shortage. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful and the service was generally very efficient. There were a few minor niggles. The online check in process didn't work smoothly. It was not clear whether the passport upload had worked or not. Nevertheless we were still able to check in early and our room was ready well ahead of the official check in time. We were astonished to find that our all inclusive package did not include any sparking wines at all, even though it did include about 30-40 different wines. However a chat with the Bar manager soon resolved this positively which we appreciated very much. However, getting a glass of the sparkling wine was a bit of a faf, always having to ask the sommelier who then had to fetch it from the locked wine room!! Another slight niggle was always having to ask the staff in the beach bar for the umbrellas by the pool to be opened (they were large and required a special handle which was kept by the staff) and often there was some delay because they were serving - it would have been better for them to be put up automatically first thing in the morning rather than waiting for someone to ask every time. Despite these minor niggles we had a wonderful time at C.Mauritius and would highly recommend it. "
