The staff were great. Really helpful. Public transit very nearby, super easy to get to manuel antonio. Hotel itself is basic. Had a good breakfast included with Costa Rican or American breakfast options.

Nice hotel in Quepos

I stayed here for two nights with my 16yo niece. We had a nice time - the location is good and the conditions of the building was overall good. The only less good thing was the lack of wifi connection in our room and an aircondition that was difficult to regulate.

Stayed 4 nights, no problems. Excellent staff member “Sunny” checked me in quickly, texted me when room was ready, offered activities and location info. Short walk to town center and bus to Manuel Antonio. GREAT room: comfy bed, A/C, fridge. Nice HOT showers. International TV in English. Includes good daily breakfast. Mercados next door. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life. This place is a health hazard and should be avoided at all costs. The room was filthy, with a dead cockroach in it from the moment I checked in until I left. Mold was everywhere, and the towels smelled like urine. I was terrified of bedbugs. The hot water stopped working after just a minute of use, and the air conditioning was non-functional. To top it off, the pool was closed the entire time.

Good service, friendly staff.

We stayed at room 309, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was great, the location is good, very quiet and safe; however we found 2 cockroaches in our bedroom, and another thing that I want to mention is that the bathroom is too small, when you use the toilet you barely fit. But in general Ok.

Avoid that hotel

The hotel is very primitive. The room are clean but very dark. The staff very authoritarian and not friendly at all. The swimming pool is nice. AVOID it !

pésimo hotel

HOTEL MALO, la conexión a internet, es muy mala, no se conecta ni en los lugares indicados para tal fin, las habitaciones no tienen placares por lo que las valijas, están tiradas en el piso, el baño no tiene ventilación, solo tiene agua caliente en la ducha y por un calentador eléctrico, el desayuno muy pobre, el estacionamiento siempre está lleno por lo que envían a guardar el auto a un terreno a 100mts. entre camiones y buses. La recepción cierra a las 21 hs. Además hay cárteles en la habitación que los domingos no tienen servicio de habitación.

The room was very sparce. Small room, beds, 1 small end table, sm refrig, small table. Only 1 waste basket in room for bathrm which you need bc you cannot put toilet paper in toilet. Beds only had sheets, no blanket. I had to beg and plead to get a blanket, extra pillow, toilet paper etc etc. They fight you when you ask for supplies! Front desk staff was never very friendly or accomadating to guests. I saw them give other guests just as hard time as we got. They insist you wear hotel these bracelets to recognize you coming and going. I would not wear it as i felt i was a walking target out on the streets. Front desk do not provide any tourist information for guests...i was constantly told to look it up myself! Very little parking available at hotel for cars. We were told if we left after 5:30 - 6pm we would not be let back into parking lot. Tgey do offer free breakfast which were good, however, you have 2 choices only every day. Got old very quick for us. Dining staff were lovely though. Saving grace for us was the nice rooftop pool which we used daily. Inexpensive hotel, but lacks amenities, toiletries, and quality service. It is also located on a super busy road so car travel was a pain coming and going. Near plenty of great restaurants and mini markets in town. Also quite close to Marina and local parks. Having a car is a must!

Mediocre at best

Hotel has a lot of room for improvement in need of remodeling. Surprised that there was no phone to contact front office, no blankets, and parking was horrible (only had 5-6 spots and others would have to park in a lot down the street; almost got hit by a tourist bus that also parked there for the night since it was a dimly lit lot. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Only positive I can think of was the top level floor pool area which was a nice area to relax.

hard working ,friendly staff.quiet,clean rooms.disagree with paying 10,000 colonas if you invite someone to your room for drinks or whatever.rather leave that money for tips for the maids
