We arrived early and the hotel staff was wonderful about getting us into our room early. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We greatly appreciated this. We did not realize until after we had checked in that the rooms would not be cleaned daily, we were assured that we could request a room cleaning if needed. On the third day we requested new towels and for the trash to be taken- we were told they would do a full cleaning. We returned that evening to a room that had not been touched. We didn’t have any clean towels- we spoke to the front desk and they assured us the next day they would take care of the room. The next day the trash was taken and new towels were brought but the beds were not properly made (just sheets pulled up to the pillows) and there was no toilet paper or tissues in the room. We were not impressed. Last time we stayed here we felt the entire hotel was dirty and out dated. We had been assured by other travelers that it had been updated. While these updates were minimal it was in better condition this stay. Overall it was just ok. We were impressed with the daily breakfast and early check in. There needs to be more attention to the cleanliness of the hotel rooms, hallways and pool area.
