Stockholm, Swedish's capital, is about 160 miles (257 kilometers) to the east of Rada.
The area around Rada is wonderfully endowed with natural and cultural attractions, from tourist hotspots to hidden gems that await the more intrepid traveler. Sunne and Rottneros are two other places worth seeing while you're in Central Sweden.
About 45 miles (72 kilometers) to the south of Rada is Karlstad, a regional city where you go see Ostra Bron, Varmlands Museum and Sandgrund Lars Lerin. Make sure you don't rush back to Rada until you've visited Karlstad's Mariebergsskogen, Bergvig Shopping Mall and Bryngfjordens Golf Club.
