"The location was unbeatable, very near the centre and the main Serdica metro station. The room was well furnished and spacious. A good gym and sauna. "Staff offered a “free upgrade” to a junior suit, we had to wait an extra hour and a half for our room to be ready. When we got given our room the room did not look like pictures at all. Yes it was bigger but the “upgraded” room was outdated, dirty, and to be honest creepy. It was like the rest of the hotel had been refurbed apart from this room, it was hidden away down one of the corridors. The room also had an issue with a loud buzzing sound, which we complained about and thankfully we got moved to our original room booking. I don’t know how staff thought it was an upgrade. The standard room was fine, and lovely, looked like the pictures. Do not book the junior suit. "

"We stayed only because we had a late fight. But for the price you can stay in a very nice hotel in town. This is a dated, needs major upgrades. Only stay for the convenience of closeness to airport and the free shuttle. The guy at reception was very rude. Make sure you ask about the shuttle before you sit down for breakfast. Breakfast was okay."
