"Convenient for our trip away from Bristol Airport. The room is spacious but somewhat dated albeit comfortable. Only real point of improvement would be to fit blackout curtains as with light being on outside the room, it never really got dark."

"We had a lovely stay at the cross hands old sodbury We checked in and on arrival we where told breakfast was between 7.00 am & 10.00 am So that was fine but on the Saturday we wanted breakfast at 7.00 as we where showing dogs in a dog show at Bath Only to be told breakfast was between 8.00 and 10.00 on a weekend So we had to miss breakfast As we had to leave at 8.00 am Wasn’t happy as I had paid for two breakfasts which we didn’t get"

"It was such a fun experience staying in this historic Inn! The decor maintained the historical feel, and it was a fun place to stay while visiting Glastonbury. We were able to walk everywhere (including to the top of the Tor - which seemed dauting but was not that bad!) For vegetarians - we had a great plant based burger for dinner at the restaurant, and the English Breakfast included in the morning was a very hearty way to start the day. "Highly recommended! Staff super friendly and helpful, great food especially breakfast. Bed slats needed fixing and TV channels were very limited, but these were just niggles in what was a very pleasant weekend stay. "

"A friend and I went to Frome for a wedding, and staying at the Archangel was perfect. It was close to the wedding, shopping and Frome itself was lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful, the venue had a wonderful series of quiet rooms, eating areas and our room was wonderful. The steel and brass fittings and stone work were beautiful. My one piece of feedback would be for our room; it had narrow steps up to the room which I think would not work for anyone who had disabilities. If the room does...
