We had a short trip to Ella and booked Hotel Onrock for one night. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill and was a bit tricky to find but once we found it, I could not fault anything about the hotel. It was very clean and well maintained. The view from this hotel is lovely. Rooms were nice, kettle and toiletries provided. Walkable to Ella town (albeit a steep road). Bathroom not the best - poor water pressure, smelled like damp. Breakfast and sevice was good.

Our host, Sanjaya, provided a warm welcome. Literally as he brought a portable heater into our room as the weather took a chilly turn. Great staff who could not have been more helpful with suggestions and with an umbrella! Breakfast was good too.
