“This was a great place to take a break from our AB&B stays. The property is gorgeous. The bed were great. We both got a good nights sleep. The room was a nice size. An ice machine would have been the one thing that would have made this perfect. Oh yes and the breakfast was one of the best in our last 10 weeks of travel.”

“The receptionist who checked us in on Friday 31st July 2026 was lovely and friendly. Made us aware of seats round the side near the toilets for kids to charge devices before our room was ready. Aldo made us aware we could use hotel facilities before check in. The hotel is very family oriented which I loved. “Room had AC which is rare for Ireland, glad we had it during July heatwave. There is a small lift, elevator, to easily get luggage upstairs to the rooms. The attached restaurant pub on the first floor has lots of character; it being a former monastery, 300 yrs old. Food was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Setting was quiet. Plenty of parking in large parking lot next to building. We would enjoy staying here again.”

“Basic accommodation in a building separate from the pub. My room smelt a bit weird. The shower lacked vigour and could not be detached from the wall. The staff were good.”

“Overall experience was nice that the surroundings and leisure club are pretty good. The thing we didn't expect is that there are some stairs going down to the room that we need to carry the luggage ourselves, which is not notified when booking. Also the air smells moldy in the corridor downstairs. But the room itself is tidy and clean.”
