Loved the location and quirkiness of the hotel. Staff excellent - friendly, attentive, respectful and efficient. Room was good and bed comfortable; only small drawback was lack of air conditioning on one of the hottest nights of the year!! And no prior notice of the add on charge for parking. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment about the food offer.

Beautiful, old building set in lovely gardens. There was a lot of open space and the accommodation was well spread out. It was nice to have a terrace to sit and enjoy a coffee. The Spa was very nice but I can imagine it gets very busy at certain times of the day.

The Hotel was situated in pleasant surroundings, catered for everyone including children. The staff were very welcoming and easy to approach. The menu choice was very good and the food cooked to a very good standard my wife and I enjoyed celebrating our 45 wedding anniversary here.

Beautiful surroundings, beautiful Manor house, but rooms very ‘tired’, dogs allowed in restaurant and were actually sitting on the dining chairs or being fed with items from breakfast bar, very slow service at dinner, more than an hour wait, drinks billed incorrectly, couldn’t assist with taxi bookings, unsatisfactory level of cleanliness and upkeep of hotel.
