“It was a weird place”

“As a man in my seventies I have difficulty with technology on occasion. I did not understand how to check in when I arrived at the property so I called the management number. I got a text that he was on another call and would call back. after 5-10 minutes I called again requesting assistance. Got a text telling me he was still on a call. this went on for more that 20 minutes with numerous unhelpful texts. via text I explained my situation and pleaded to speak to someone who could help. He……

“The room is clean. Super quiet. There is really no staff to speak of. You share a bathroom which wasn’t a problem. For Boston it was a great value.”

“I don’t like the fact that charging extra $20 for early checking in!”

“Joan was wonderful-She greeted us immediately and made us feel very welcome. The house is incredibly charming, clean, and breakfast was wonderful-Thanks for a great experience for our first Bed and Breakfast!”

“Nice place to live (self catering type) but a slop hill of about 25m to walk through if on foot. With 7 day pass, it is easy to travel to Boston city about 40mins. Nearby, get restaurants and 7-11. It is a good place (cost effective) to stay for my Boston marathon and walk around Boston. ”

“Staying at the Josiah Keith house feels like getting to visit distant relatives in their own home back in time. at the Keith, you’re encouraged to lounge downstairs in an early 18th century house. It’s also a museum where historically accurate restoration is their main concern. the house has lots of furnishings and artifacts that were original to the house. some things are still being worked on just like an uncle or a cousins house would be. here that’s part of the charm that you are let into……
