I loved the historic buildings in the area. Beautiful. Loved the historic Inn. I had dinner and brunch in onsite restaurant, Epoch - both were great. My only issue is [for any and all that do this] I feel that any required resort fee should be part of the base fee, unless it is optional. I knew when I booked, but I believe it is playing with numbers.

We thought the pool and hot tub had a ton of algae on the bottom but once closer it may be just very badly rubbed off paint. The bed sounded like every spring was broken. Jetted tub in bedroom also looked very dirty on bottom. All chairs in room were stained or dirty looking. If these things could be fixed/updated out stay for a night would have been perfect. Staff were ALL super friendly.

It is a tad pricey, but you get what you pay for, and we decided to splurge and get a room overlooking the ball park. You don't even need to buy a ticket to the game (although we did), no matter where your room is, though, because there is a patio deck with food and drink service overlooking left field.
