Great secret spot! We love staying at this location.

The lazy river was fun. Our room was on the eighth floor and the outside of the room window is very dirty because it is full of mildew.

Had a great time relaxing at the pool and enjoying the many things to do there. My only issue is that they are Nicole and dining their customers more and more. We arrived at noon and realized we were too early to check in. We planned to go to the pool but found they now require require you to check in early to use the pool. $50 at noon and $30 extra at 1pm. They used to allow us to use the pool without having to pay additional fees. Just another example of them extracting as much as they can squeeze from you while you’re there..

I checked into room 216 at the Wingate by Wyndham Lake Charles Casino Area and immediately noticed a strong wet, musty smell. The carpet and wall around the air conditioner were wet and covered in mold. When I pulled back the curtains, I found three bullet holes through both panes of the window. I reported the issues to the front desk, and the employee said, “Sorry, we thought we fixed all the rooms with mold. We must’ve missed one.” Given the condition of the room, I left the hotel and booked a room elsewhere. Very disappointed with the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall quality of this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay. Then bed was very firm.
