"fantastic stay. super friendly staff, stylish hotel. great to have a stage in the Gardens for the Shanty fedtival. Room with Sun deck was perfect. Ate at the bar in the evening - v tasty and also great breakfast . High end hotel with relaxed and friendly vibe ."

"It's a fair walk for us OAPs to the town centre. Very limited parking due to the Shanty Festival. We were lucky to get the last space underground. It would have been a disaster for us if we couldn't have parked locally. Apparently one can reserve a space for a fee - wasn't told this when I booked. Limited menu in restaurant. Limited breakfast choice. - no cold meat and cheese for the europeans. Amazing views across the harbour."

"Excellent standard for a dog friendly hotel. Whilst the team behind the bar could not of been friendlier and helpful a warmer welcome on arrival would have made the whole experience perfect. Will definitely be booking again as so easy and wonderful that our fur pups are so welcomed 👍"

"Staff are fabulous - cannot do enough to help you. Breakfast decent, evening menu needs a bit of an update - it used to be much more expansive - I appreciate things have changed since Covid, but probably needs a refresher. Rooms definitely in need of a facelift - damaged desk/dressing table not very impressive."
