Wonderful stay!

Sea Side Inn was very clean. The rooms were very nice with a balcony. The beds were very comfortable. The maids came in every day. The pool was just right. Small but relaxing. The hotel staff were very friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

Property looks old, but well maintained and was the cheapest option for Fourth of July. Expected to be a lot worse since being the cheapest, but staff was excellent in maintaining the property to be as clean as can be.

I read the reviews before reserving the hotel for the weekend. The hotel was clean and the employee at the front desk was very helpful. The coffee was great and we enjoyed our visit.

Although this building is older and the hot water would run out with 4 people and beds weren’t super comfy, it was a great stay ! The staff were all super friendly and the room was clean. Short walk to the beach. Bethany boardwalk is 10 min drive and Ocean city was very close. I would stay here again!

Stayed here for the Ocean's Calling festival. Check-in was quick and efficient. The staff was friendly and kind. The room was dated, but clean and had a true king size bed. Excellent pillows - firm yet soft. I would stay here again for the location and ease of getting to places along the beach.

The owners/management are very nice. The motel is very old, like you feel like you are stepping back into the 60’s. That said, it serves the purpose for a quick overnight or even a couple of days. There has been painting done to make it feel fresh, laminate floors nice that you don’t have to walk on damp sandy beach motel carpet.it is a very simple place, built is clean and when you enter your room, it smells freshly cleaned. A short walk to the beach. Some shops and dining you can walk to. If you need fancy or are picky, this is not the place for you. But if you want inexpensive, and are ok with old but clean, this will serve the purpose. It’s not where I would want to spend my only vacation week, but I needed inexpensive clean place for one night. A long weekend would be ok also, but not where I would want to be for a week.

I would return to this property in a heartbeat. Everything was great from beginning to end. The staff were very welcoming upon arrival and friendly throughout our stay. I wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance to the beach and this absolutely was. I had never been to Delaware before so I wasn’t sure if I made the right decision in choosing Fenwick Island but for my daughter and I it was the best! If you want the hustle and bustle and crowds of Rehoboth Beach, then don’t stay here, but if you want a wonderful ocean vacation where you can relax this is the place to be!

I did like the closeness to the beach. The seaside Inn itself was clean, but old and outdated. The furniture in the room had seen better days. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The TV was older with a grainy picture. Bathroom was small. The staff was friendly. Not to sure if I would stay here again. But the location is good.

We had a lovely balcony with morning sun overlooking a couple trees and another property. The worst thing probably was the complete lack of an elevator but as it was only 3 floors it was not THAT bad. They had a small pool in the center of the hotel, not inside, but surrounded by the staircases and halls. The beach was a short 1.5 block walk to the entrance over the dunes. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We were surprised that the room was cleaned, bed made, and towels swapped, a thing not requested and in this era of post covid crap, a thing not often found.

Other reviews are telling the truth when they say this hotel is VERY CLEAN! You can tell the housekeepers take great pride in making sure every room is spotless. It's not outdated at all and looks even better in person than the pictures online show. Check-in and checkout were super simple and fast! The ac was super quiet and kept the room very cool even on a sweltering day with high humidity. The pool was small but relaxing when we couldn't be at the beach due to a storm. The hotel is in walking distance to several excellent restaurants and breakfast places, which is convenient as breakfast is not offered here. The neighborhood and hotel itself is very quiet and family-oriented. Everyone was asleep at decent hours and I wasn't woken up at all by any noises, not even the street sounds as it's a quiet area. The hotel is also situated on the beach side of the highway, so it's a a very quick and safe walk down a small residential type street to the beach access. Of all the beach spots between Dewey and Ocean City, this is by far the least crowded, most clean, and quiet. It had the feel of being very private. There is also a lifeguard on duty at this beach access. Some cons were the uncomfortable beds (the mattress sounded like a blowup mattress for some reason and was very hard), the very slow wifi (the tv only has wifi channels), and the scratchy toilet paper.
