"Lovely quiet and secluded. The area around the lodge is absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner were lovely as well. We used the lodge as our base for a couple of days of hiking in Connemara and it was perfect! The only issue we had was our room was too hot and we couldn’t find a thermostat to lower the heating, opening windows was not really an option because of insects."

We took advantage of many local amenities and sites, shops, restaurants and walks, including the nearby Connemara National Park. All good!"
