Mini Road Trip
Excellent accommodations. Loved the rustic charm, spaciousness and the working fireplace. Especially loved the hot tub overlooking the river and all the towels that were provided. Only negatives were the grill needs work as it doesn’t heat up and the cleaning people arrived before check out - which felt very rushed. Despite that - would stay again for sure.

Luxe cabin in the woods!
Very cool cabin! Our teens loved the two upstairs rooms as their getaways, and there was plenty of space for us all (including dog). Everything seemed quite clean and comfortable. We made good use of the hot tub - worth it even if it's raining. Maybe especially then! Only about half an hour to drive up to Timberline, so a good location if you want to be near the mountain.

Family snow trip
My family had a great time here! We loved the cozy cabin feel, loved the character of the stairs and kids bunk room was awesome! Hotub right on the river, and fireplace made it extra cozy! The beds are pretty hard and should be updated, with some padding.. We also had some trouble with the showers, they wouldn't drain and wouldn't go passed a certain temp...Contacted vacasa and never got replies. Besides that it was pretty nice! Some more detailed cleaning could be done... But overall we would LOVE to come back for summer. Only a short drive to the skibowl too and lots of stores and everything you need close by!

Short little getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a day of skiing. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Although we did think the checkout time 10AM was a little early.

A Lovely Week In the Woods
My husband and I stayed here for a week for our anniversary and overall it was a lovely stay. Pros: - The views of the river and trees - The sound of the rushing river - The backyard landscaping is gorgeous - Comfort of the home - Nicely updated bathrooms and lovely decor throughout - Clean and well stocked (TONS of towels and lovely sheets!) - Great little hot tub - Easy parking and access to the property Cons: -The AC does "work-ish" as long as it isn't too hot outside (over 80 degrees). The owners may need to check the refrigerant because it doesn't really blow cool air it just blows. So don't stay here if it's supposed to hot. -The mattresses are horrible. I knew this based on the reviews and brought a queen mattress topper from home! -The BUGS! Be prepared to wear bug spray whenever outside. No matter what you will get bit multiple times. -In the entryway there are these awesome tree decorations that SMELL horrible. Every time you either go into the entry way or stairway you can't escape the smell of rotting old trees. - There are so lovely homes in the area but there is an abandoned large front loaders across the street that cheapen the overall esthetic. - The floors have seen better days - it is obvious that this is a rental - The location of the knobs on the kitchen cabinets, WHY? WHY are they placed in the middle of the cabinet causing you to bend over well past center to open them? At least change the knobs below the sink so you can throw trash away without throwing out your back! We were cursing those silly things the entire trip! Mt Hood area: wasn't what I expected it to be. While the outdoor activities are superb I was expecting Mt Hood to be similar to Tahoe or Mammoth with nice shops and great restaurants. It didn't have either. The lunch options were subpar at best and there were no good shops to speak of. Also Mt Hood is not a dog friendly area. We had a difficult time finding restaurants that allowed dogs which is a shock since we are in Oregon! In order to find good restaurants we had to travel and hour to Hood River. Otherwise, hiking, biking, boating, and fishing are amazing here. Just be prepared for the horrid bug attacks during hot summer months. EW.

Stunning space, beds & cook range need improvement
The cabin is stunning, inside and out. View is fantastic, the rushing water sound is so lovely, and the cabin aesthetic is the perfect mix of rustic and modern. The beds were unfortunately hard and uncomfortable. Mattress toppers would go a long way. If you want to watch movies you have to sit on the trendel bed mattress on the floor upstairs. Not terrible, but not great either. The cook range was a challenge. The large front burner doesn’t work properly. We had to cook our breakfast on the small burners and it cooked everything unevenly. The stove worked great though, and the kitchen is well equipped with any cookware/utensils you’d need. The gas fireplace was also hit and miss. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. It would be super helpful for guests to have some kind of book/binder with general info about the house- there was no welcome book with instructions for anything at all. No list of nearby hikes or restaurants, etc. We just had to make best guesses on how to use the fireplace, hot tub, etc… which was all pretty straightforward, but would still be nice to have that info. Despite these minor inconveniences, we had a wonderful stay. The fire pit and hot tub by the river can’t be beat and we really enjoyed every moment.

Perfect Mountain escape
This rental is so cozy and peaceful. It rained on and off. Great to snuggle by fireplace and listen to the rain and the river. A short drive to some amazing nature trails and stores. The house had full kitchen items available to prepare meals. The view and sound of the river was heavenly and we enjoyed the hot tub even in the rain. The beds were comfortable and plenty of towels and blankets. The house is unique in its layout. Steep stairs to the third floor loft. Nice to separate all 3 bedrooms for privacy but 3rd floor bedroom/loft uses bathroom on second floor which may be tricky for smaller children fo navigate at night FYI . The house had streaming to watch movies and lots of family games. A fire pit in backyard for s’mores night. We would love to return here soon!

No A/C
Beautiful place on a beautiful river. Though listed as with A/C there is only central heat (AKA a fan to move the air) and a gas fireplace . Made the nights miserable. Clean and nice otherwise. Only reason we rented it was A/C for a hot weekend. Thermostat set at 50 and the temperature was 81 inside. Never went below 71 in the AM. I feel like I paid a premium price for something I did not receive.

Cabin Get-Away
This was the perfect cabin in the woods on the Sandy River. The location felt secluded and private but is a short 4 minute drive to multiple different Trail Heads and 10-15 minute drive to the nearest City for food/shopping. The views were breath taking at this location and the Hot Tub on the river was something straight out of a magazine- Perfect. The photos on this listing don't do the property justice. We will definitely be staying here again soon.
