The elevator was not working, and we were told the first floor was for people with pets, so my handicapped wife had to climb stairs to the second floor. Expedia should stay more informed about things like this.

What I appreciated the most was the Farmer Brothers coffee available in the lobby so early in the morning. Great for folks heading out early! Plus a filtered water machine!

The inside of the room was excellent, the staff was excellent, but the exterior was in need of paint and replacing some dry rot, and the elevator was out of service so I had to carry my dog up to our room on the third floor

Beachfront Inn was a very quaint, clean hotel right on the water. we opened our sliding glass door and slept listening to the waves. it was great!

Lobby and breakfast was great! Staff was friendly too and the beach was a very easy walk from the room. Beds were comfy and rooms were nicely decorated and updated. Unfortunately, we had multiple issues with our toilet clogging and over flowing. No offers of room changes or compensation, and clean up was nothing more than a little mop. Pool looked pretty gross too. It wasn't heated when we were there due to something not working and they informed us it was still usable. When we went to view the pool the liner was really discolored giving it a moldy/dirty look. My kids, who love swimming, didn't want to swim in it so we opted out of that. Patios are ridiculously small for the upper floors. Chairs could only fit facing each other with zero walking space around them. If you switched them to face the ocean you had no leg room unless you slid your legs through the guard rail. More for standing for sure.

Upon arrival, our bedding was covered in what I assume and hope was black dog hair. When we alerted staff it was changed and I assumed it was a fluke. However, when we went to use the towels they all reeked of cigarette smoke. I have a hard time accepting a hotel, especially at this price point, having such a casual approach to when to do laundry. The location is lovely so adding a star back in case dirty rooms don’t bother you.

Elevator was out of order and we were on the 3rd floor, which was a hassle. Hot tub was out of order and heated pool was not heated - heater was broken. Pool also needs to be re-painted badly. Pretty gross. Room itself was clean and had a great view.

loved the sound of the ocean waves while sleeping at night with the sliding door open. Excellent restaurants very close by. Fat Irish, Zola's etc. we stayed 4 nights and used Brookings as our base for lots of activities, coast drives and hiking adventures. We left only because our next 4 days was based out of Yachats. Will be back.

The elevators have not worked for over 3 years. Going up and down stairs with mobility issues is difficult. Water pressure terrible in the shower but otherwise love this hotel. Was 3rd visit, will go again but need the elevators fishily fixed!

Overall the hotel was ok, for the price it was way overpriced in comparison to other hotels. Everywhere in town seems to be understaffed. For what we paid I thought we were getting a suite and it was far from a suite. The hotel is a bit run down and it seems the owners are maximizing their profit instead of maintaining and up keep.

the place is not kept up and looked like it needed some maintenance. It's nice to have a room overlooking the ocean but I feel the rooms are overpriced based on the condition of the property

This Inn was pretty good for us! The view we had was gorgeous watching the ocean. The only big down fall was that we got a room on the 3rd floor in a building with no elevator. It was clean enough for a nights stay with a good restroom! Keep in mind that there is NOT AC, which may be a dealbreaker for some.

My only complaint is that the floors are very creaky,and it was hard to get to sleep, and stay asleep, when the occupant above us walked around. Next time we will request a room on the top floor.
