The "villa" was stunning, clean, well appointed and nestled in the magical landscape in such a way that it felt like we were alone in the forest. The staff was fantastic, helpful, accommodating and kind. I can not say enough positive things about Sangregado Lodge! I highly highly recommend!"

"This hotel in on a mountain 2 km uphill on a paved but old road, although I saw sedans I don’t know how they made it. We were glad we rented a 4x4 that’s what I recommend. Also try to get there before dark due to the steep uphill super curvy 2 km road. Although hotel is old (probably oldest in the area) it’s very clean , rooms are big and comfortable. It’s on a beautiful mountain with great views . The horse riding on site is a most! Decent breakfast, friendly staff. Definitely recommend if you’re into rustic stays and nature. "
