Most hotel staff were excellent but some let the others down. Hotel has 2 restaurants casual and formal. Both nice and suit the occassion. Copacabana area is dirty, tired and you need to be super careful. We were advised this at check in.

Very friendly and Helpful in general - but not very personal. Not 5 star feeling more 4,5 . 5 star ( Europe comparison ) feels more personal, luxurious. Missing elegance . Standard of construction is more 3,5-4, ie details in carpenter work. Lose things , elevator feels old even if quite new (?) etc However location is great
