"The room was clean and well-maintained, conveniently located close to everything. We requested a quiet room on a higher floor, and everything was perfectly arranged. Housekeeping was always prompt. If we return to DC, we’ll definitely stay at the same hotel again."

The furniture is old and in some cases dirty. The shower needs to be cleaned as they seem to have places where mold is starting to grow. An update of the hotel is needed!

I love this hotel! I try to stay here whenever I’m in town. The restaurants on site are great (though there’s no room service). I love the wellness amenities. The rooms are on the smaller side but very comfortable. I always sleep well. If you want a bit of night life or social aspect, it’s great too bc there’s a beautiful speakeasy on the premises and a rooftop lounge.

Staff was friendly and professional. The room itself was disappointing. The bathroom door was a sliding door and it would occasionally jam and sometimes you could squeeze your fingers if not careful. The water pressure in the shower was very low and it was difficult to get the water to a consistent temperature; it would sometimes oscillate between hot and cold very quickly. The Alex speakeasy downstairs was also disappointing. Took a while for the staff to seat us even with a reservation, we were there for at least 50 mins without getting a drink so we decided to leave. The Jazz music was off putting; it felt like the band members were playing over one another rather than in some sort of harmony.
