"The hotel was just perfect, very clean and the staff was amazing."

"The place was great. Clean and friendly people all around. Didn’t like the master mattress but that might have been because we aren’t use to that type of mattress. Definitely coming back."

"The stay was good, it was clean though older and the drawers had other peoples old things in them. The beds were super hard which did make the night rough, but a neighbor said his bed was great and soft, so its just one of those things about travel, be prepared, bring your own padding etc. You get what you pay for and this was fine for a night, we felt safe, staff was nice. There's a restaurant in the parking lot that isn't connected to the motel, but the food was terrible and expensive, Do yourself a favor and run to get fast food...seriously. "

"My friends and I had such an enjoyable time here. We loved the antique touches, the river was perfect!! You cannot beat the back deck ... lovely. Cheryl was great at communicating and check in/check out was an absolute breeze. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We just stayed one night here on a swing trip through West Virginia, and everything was just right - easy on-off the main highway, comfortable small-town feel with several restaurant options. The hotel itself was more than adequate with efficient and friendly staff, large clean room with everything in working order (good shower, quiet A/C, good TV and wifi reception, etc.). There was 24-hour coffee available; breakfast had some fruit and yogurt options as well as biscuits and gravy and a DIY pancake griddle (instead of a waffle maker). Very pleasant place to stay!"

"The renovations to the rooms were modern and very clean and beds were very comfortable. The price was affordable and I will likely return on my next visit to Elkins."
