The room was clean, and the lady at the counter was very nice. Main problem with the room was lack of anywhere to hang my clothes. No closet space at all. They should take the stove out of the room and add a closet. It would have been nice also to have a rack for my suitcase. But it was clean. I took spray cleaner (like 409) and paper towels and went over all the surfaces, and did not find much dirt at all, so good job on that. It is a really basic place to stay. If you want to spend minimum money and don't have any clothes to hang up, go for it.

Avoid this location at all costs. I’m not sure if the photos on the website are just “enhanced,” or they’re simply pictures of the nineteen seventies. It’s downright filthy. the manager shouts over speakerphone at customers—leaving his front desk staff to smile nervously and hold the phone to the bulletproof window.

You Get What You pay For

For an over night stay on our trip to Outer Banks it was adequate for our purpose. For our purpose the sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. The rest kind of needed a cleaning overhaul.

I agree with others comments. The property is older, but it appears to be family owned and well cared for. Room very clean and staff pleasant. It is basic, no frills and I slept well.
