“We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The owner was very responsive to our queries! The cottage was clean… however more attention does need to be paid to behind doors. Behind the doors, there were hairs and in one case an insect that had been squished but not cleaned from the wall. The beds were comfortable and we felt comfortable in the cottage and area. It was a great location to visit the island. ”

“The cottage was nice and clean. It was in the perfect location for our day trips, and very close to North Rustico. I gave 2 star for listing accuracy, as we thought was on a beach spot and could kayak right from the cottage. This was not the case. There is no direct access to the bay, a staircase to the waterfront is quite ways away. This was a big seeking point to booking this cottage and was a disappointment. Could use some extras, such as grab bar for shower, or games/puzzles. Washer and……

“Excellent stay with friendly caring hosts”

“We are very happy with our experience at this vacation home. The cabin is cozy with some modern upgrades, such as new windows, heat pump and a nice little bathroom. It is genuinely minutes away from all the sites and beaches (and restaurants!) in the area. We were thrilled with the ability to bring our two small dogs with us. The owners are clearly hard working, attentive and aiming to make continued improvements. We absolutely recommend this location and will revisit when we next come to the……

“Was perfect for my family ”

“The picture looks better than the actual. Door was made of planks. Floor shook and gave impression the cabin base was unstable. Porch boards broken. Dishes/cutlery/utensils would not be acceptable at a garage sale. Internet was sporadic. Bathroom was updated and clean - a big plus. Host was gracious in response to our visit cut short by Fiona storm. ”

“Owner is very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a nice relaxing 2 night stay with friends and we had a great time. Sitting at the gazebo talking to.other guests and meeting their dogs and enjoying the cabin's porch. Definitely recommend these cabins.”
