There have been some recent improvements to the condominium common grounds. There is a new expanded pool deck with a large pergola for shade. There is also a new deck overlooking the pond for feeding the turtles and ducks.

Top Floor Condo with SPECTACULAR Ocean and Sound views in beautiful Resort Rodanthe. At four stories tall, we have some of THE BEST views in Rodanthe! Don't want to climb stairs, you say? We have an ELEVATOR. Only 100 feet to the beach on our private boardwalk! Master Bedroom has a Queen Bed and ensuite Bath. Second Bedroom has 2 Twin Beds with private access to a Hall Bath. Queen-size pullout sofa in Living Room. Living Room and both Bedrooms have new TVs. DVD/VCR in living room and both bedrooms. Stereo/CD in Living Room. Fully-loaded Kitchen with ALL NEW APPLIANCES and many extra amenities (grill machine, blender, reg coffeemaker, Keurig, toaster, crock-pot, waffle iron, smoothie maker, etc). The kitchen has a breakfast bar with seating for three. The dining table has seating for six. Full size washer/dryer in unit. Comfortable, casual, coastal decor. New carpeting installed recently and freshly painted through-out.

Large community pool available May 1st through September 30th.

Weekly rental May 25th to September 7th.

We recently updated our condo to make it our home away from home. We have provided many extra amenities for the comfort of our guests. Private, covered deck with table/chairs and a southern exposure with a stunning view of the Ocean, Sound, and Rodanthe village. Another covered deck has a sitting area with adirondack chairs. The Master Bedroom has an awesome view of the Ocean from the bed! Electric fireplace for those cool, romantic evenings. Private boardwalk to pool and beach. Within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and Rodanthe Pier.

We hope you find Rodanthe and Hatteras Island as special as we do. This is the same beach where the movie 'Nights in Rodanthe' was filmed starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane, based on the best-selling Nicholas Sparks novel. Our beaches are consistently rated as some of THE BEST BEACHES IN THE USA! The beaches here are nothing short of pristine. Enjoy!

Travel Cancellation Protection is strongly recommended and can be purchased through Homeaway or VRBO when you reserve (Travel Protection from CSA) or from another company such as Travel Guard or Rental Guardian.

EXTRAS:

Linens for beds and 6 towels (for inside condo use only) are provided. If you need more towels, linen for the sleeper sofa and or beach towels I can provide for an additional fee. Also for an additional fee, we now offer bed-making services. Please inquire for more info.

There is a plastic tub with linen for the sofa bed and 6 beach towels for guest to use at no additional cost but must be washed, dried and put back at the end of the stay. This is on the honor system.

For an additional fee, we now offer early check-in. Beat the rush and start your vacation early. Check-in at 1:00PM instead of the standard check-in time of 4:00PM. Please inquire for more info.

The latest information as of 5/10/20

The Outer Banks is now opening to visitors on May 16th. Dare County where the condo is located has put a strategic plan for reopening. Please visit https://www.darenc.com/home for details.
As of May 16th retailers will be allowed to be open. Customers are encouraged to wear face masks and practice social distancing. The beaches and most parks are open. Grocery stores are open but I encourage you to bring your own supplies especially paper towels and toilet tissue. Restaurants are allowed to provide curb side service. Waves Deli, the Taco Truck, Bros Sandwich Shop and several pizza places have remained open for pick up throughout the whole time.
Pools and gyms are closed but we have a permit to have the pool maintained and it is ready to go. Now but we must wait for the County to give us the OK which will be the next phase of opening.
Restaurants and Bars to fully open will be the last phase and dates on these phases have not been established.
For your safety I have made arrangements with my cleaning company to ensure extra sanitizing. This includes wiping down light switches, handles door knobs, TV remotes, and spraying disinfectant over kitchen counters, bathrooms etc.
I have removed all knick knacks, games, DVD’s, kid’s toys, books, magazines, decorative pillows, etc. so the condo is stripped down. This will make it easier to keep everything clean and sanitized and less places for viruses to live.
For bedding I will be providing clean sheets and towels. They will be by the door when you arrive. We are not offering to make beds at this time. The less hands that touch your clean linen the better. I highly recommend that you bring your own pillow and bed cover. Bed Covering meaning bedding, duvet, blankets not sheets. However, I understand this is not convenient for everyone so there will be pillows and bed covers in the closets. Please feel free to use them. If you do, please leave them out and we will swap them out with another set that has been sanitized for the next guests.
I have talked to many of the business owners and they have been working around the clock to get ready for the season. In my opinion but do not hold me to this, I think the beginning of June services of restaurants and retail may be a little slower but they will be back to normal by mid-June.
I have been here since the 6th of May with my son. We flew from Colorado and we are so happy to be here. Many of the home owners are also here with their children because of the home schooling situation. We feel very safe, the fresh sea air is so soothing and we are having a blast.
