"Our host was extremely hospitable from the moment we entered the property. Making sure we were comfortable with the accommodations and helping us bring our bags upstairs, our host was friendly and was very responsive with any communication leading to our stay. The terrace gave a beautiful view of the ocean with an exquisite view of the sunset. Some options for meals outside of the vrbo, however most restaurants found were attached to a hotel which was great! We did have to drive about 20 mins...

"Calabria is a province of hilltop villages and just outside San Vincenzo La Costa is this peaceful mountain refuge. The driveway is daunting at first but passable in any car and easy once you have done it. Host Claudia stocked the place with jam, bread and coffee and did everything to make me feel at home. There is great hiking from the house and even better a short drive away, and it easy to access all the wonders of Calabria in an hours drive in any direction. I cannot wait to come back."

"Though the villa is out of the town (you should definitely rent a small car) once you get to the villa, it is serene, spacious, clean and inviting. Our host Anna was extremely responsive, helpful and kind. Internet access is very good even in that remote area. The pool and the grounds are kept clean and are lovely for relaxing. There is a grocery very close by, just about 6 minutes drive, with all your needs. If you want to be close to the action of the town, it's just a few minutes drive away,...

"This is such a beautiful place with a laid-back atmosphere and host. Cesare was great from start to finish. We arrived later in the evening the first night but he was kind and patient as we drove into southern Italy. The courtyard is beautifully decorated with gorgeous flowers and outdoor furniture and it's illuminated at night. Our room was clean and colorful and the kitchen was super useful. The beach is walkable and within 300 meters. We'll definitely stay here again! Thank you!!"
