Renovated and air-conditioned apartment with a living terrace centrally located on the third floor of a period building with a doorman and a tree-lined courtyard a few minutes walk from San Pietro / Musei Vaticani. 150 meters from the Lepanto metro station and 50 meters from the taxi station. Bus stop in front. Free WiFi (fiber optic), washing machine and iron. Apartment composed of: living room with 2 single sofa beds, 2 double bedrooms with TV and Sky, 2 bathrooms with shower, living terrace, fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, kettle, microwave and coffee / moka machine / American coffee including waffles and blend for American machine. Lively area, full of restaurants and bars, with market on the corner and 2 supermarkets in front. Possibility on request of private car garage in the immediate vicinity.

Die sehr gepflegte Wohnung befindet sich in der Nähe der Metro-Station Lepanto in der 3. Etage und verfügt über einen Lift. Die Beschreibung der umfangreich ausgestatteten Wohnung über das Portal Fewo-Direkt entsprach sehr gut den örtlichen Gegebenheiten. Unser 19-jähriger Sohn hatte sein eigenes Reich mit Schlafzimmer, Bad und Balkon. In der Nähe (max. 200 m) befindet sich ein Supermarkt, ein gutes Cafe und verschiedene Restaurants. Die Bushaltestelle der Linie 280 verbindet die Anschrift mit zentralen Sehenswürdigkeiten Roms.Die Wohnung liegt ruhig und hat einen grünen Innenhof, der Kontakt zu Donata war über E-Mail und Handy möglich.

It was a beautiful apartment skilfully blending old and new. All facilities were excellent, including little touches such as multi-national adaptors, umbrellas, shopping bags. Everything had been meticulously thought through. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Recommendations and information from Donata were excellent. We would happily return.

Massimo was the perfect host who greeted us upon our arrival. He explained all the intricacies of our accommodation so we felt right at home. I find the hosts in Italy to be so very professional and gracious. Our time here was wonderful as we explored Lucca daily with so much to find. Upon our departure Massimo recommended a lovey Pasticceria Pane è Marmellata just a few minutes drive away that was just what we were looking for before we travelled to our next destination. I would not hesitate to recommend this home and location. Bravo!

I wanted so much to love this little apartment. We were in contact with the owner throughout the day of our arrival. We gave him an approximate time that we would be there. When we arrived, there was a person there to meet. He was very kind and he showed us the property. He did not, however, put on the air conditioning before we got there, even though he lives in the same complex as the apartment. It was so hot in there that it was hard to breathe. For the life of me, I don’t understand why she didn’t have the air conditioning on hours before our arrival seeing that it was in the mid 90s that day. We stayed in the apartment one night, but the beds were so uncomfortable that we had a hard time sleeping in the apartment was so hot that it wasn’t enjoyable. The sheets had a chemical smell to them. I have never left VRBO before, but we just couldn’t stay there. We left the next day and booked a room at the Marriott. I wrote an email to the owner who said that he agreed that the air conditioning should’ve been on and he was willing to buy mattress toppers, new sheets, and new towels. He also told us that if we gave him a time of arrival, he would make sure that the air-conditioning was on and that the apartment was cool. I did appreciate that, but at that point we had paid for the hotel and could not get our money back. I did not ask for any type of refund and he did not offer a refund. I am upset, though that he didn’t pay me back the tax money for my stay!

Perfect Rome apartment

My sister and I stayed here for a few days to attend the Rome tennis tournament and enjoy the city. The location was perfect for us as we could walk to the Foro for the tennis and also an easy walk to the Vatican for our tour there. There is also a taxi stop nearby as well as a metro stop. The apartment is spacious and spotless. Kitchen is well equipped and all working well. The terrace is lovely to sit and relax. Bonus was having the street market around the corner for fresh food and also fabulous clothes! Donata communicated promptly and gave us lots on info on the city, shops and restaurants. Don’t hesitate to book!

The place was perfect for what we wanted out of our stay. It was well located near grocery options and even a few restaurants. Short walk to a great morning breakfast cafe and also gelato spot. The place had adequate space and a cool terrace for relaxing in the evening. The host was amazing and provided a lot of great recommendations for food! Definitely would recommend staying there to anyone traveling to Rome.

The apartment is as described. It is a great location with easy access to any places you plan to explore in Rome. There’s a great expresso bar across the street for a quick morning cappuccino and croissant. Donata is a great host and resource. We hope to return some day.

Perfectly Appointed, Peaceful Retreat in Great Location of Rome

Rome—what a revelation! And Donata’s apartment is the cherry on top, a perfectly peaceful haven from which to explore the city. Donata met us upon arrival and explained all the ins and outs of the apartment, which is sparkling clean and thoughtfully appointed with all the amenities a guest might need during their stay. She then gave us an expert overview of the city, its sights, foods and restaurants, and the best means of transportation for our explorations. She thought of everything and boosted our confidence as we stepped out into the city to explore. We walked everywhere—the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Borghese Gardens, Vatican City (the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica), the Trastevere neighborhood…all over the place! As adults, walking to such locations was thoroughly enjoyable. On our one rainy day, we hopped on a bus right near the apartment and were whisked away to the Colosseum, Forum, and Palatine Hill. It was as easy as Donata assured us it would be! Her advice to stay above ground during our adventures is well worth following because we found ourselves stumbling upon one noteworthy ancient sight after another…sights we would have missed had we taken the Metro. There are two grocery stores (one large, one small) located across the street from the apartment, restaurants galore within easy walking distance, and several gelaterias right in the neighborhood. We give Donata and her apartment the highest recommendation for your stay in Rome!

Excellent base to explore the best of Rome

This apartment is well laid out, recently upgraded, and nicely maintained. Everything is just as advertised. During our winter visit, the apartment was warm and cozy. The location is just two blocks from the Lepanto metro stop. Better, it is in the heart of the vibrant, upscale neighbhorhood of Mazzini, with great shops and restaurants just down the street. The owner is an excellent communicator and her care and attention is obvious in how well-equipped and comfortable the apartment is. We cannot wait to return for another fun stay. Thank you!

Great Communication; Relaxing and spacious

From the moment we booked, communication was great! We needed help finding a place that would be open for dinner on New Year's Eve, and Donata responded within minutes with multiple options. She met us on arrival, gave us a tour of the apartment, showed us how everything worked, and shared how to get around the city and food recommendations. She had travel books we could use while we there. It was in a quieter area, only about a 10-15 minute walk to Piazza Popolo. It was nice to get away from some of the chaos and feel more relaxed when we needed a break.

Delightful stay in Rome

Arrived at the apartment and Donata, owner, was waiting for us. Donata spent time with us going over the highlights of Rome, including where to eat, how to get around the city whether it be via Metro, taxi or walking around the city and taking it in. The apartment is tastefully decorated and had great amenities. Great location. I highly recommend staying here. Donata was quick to respond to my texts/emails. She made arrangements for us to have a driver to pick us up and take us to the airport.
