Was exactly what I needed - affordable, comfortable, safe and convenient location. So easy to get to from airport by train, and then multiple transit options to explore the city. Best gelato ever across the street! And other great restaurants in the area if you don’t want to go too far. Host was lovely and helpful. Would say again for sure.

Only one little thing needs to be clear. They DO NOT have parking area for customers, you have to "hunt" for a parking spot around on the street or pay 20€ per night. The room was clean, nice, with a balcony. Breakfast a block away, but very good, nice people. There is an awesome Greek restaurant next door. You can catch the Metro to almost anywhere 3 blocks away. Very convenient

We choose this location for its connivence to the Metro/train/subway. It is on the 10th floor and the balcony was very nice. When it was hot on the ground you got the winds cooler breeze sitting out there. Rome is loud. It’s a very busy city. So don’t be looking for quiet until later at night. Lots of cafes, restaurants & small grocery stores steps away from your door. There is an elevator but it is small. Can carry 2 people at a time with luggage no problem. If your a walker you can get to the Trevi fountain, colosseum & ruins no problem in one day. It’s also a nice walk to the River Tiber. Our Host was polite courteous & was there if and when u needed her. The WiFi worked very well.

It’s Okay

It’s in a neighborhood that’s local so not too bad. A tad sketchy, but as long as you’re in daytime it should be fine. Very close to train station like 3 - 6minutes walk but at night the noise is insane so if you have very light sleep be careful. The AC isn’t that cold so if you’re from anerica lol have lower expectation. No reception to give you keys it’s self check in which I don’t mind. It’s definitely not a true B&B it’s more like an Airbnb as the breakfast is not really a breakfast. You have to go across the street to a cafeteria and you’re only allowed for 1 coffee 1 croissant and 3 cookies. The people that work there were a little bit surprised when we asked. I don’t eat sweets for breakfast so for me that was a waste of money. They don’t even give you any of the above unless you ask for it. The building is residential so with a baby I was very worried. I recommend to stay closer to Termini if you are on a budget than Ostiense. I could possibly stay in Ostiense again but just to explore the more local areas Overall if you’re single and don’t mind noise and no cold AC it’s ok for the price. If you’re a family not the best spot because you will struggle a lot with the stroller.

Happy to italy trip!!

Happy to italy trip!

A very nice B&B, very comfortable! The location is a bit off the city center but just 2 stations away by metro from the Coliseo and easy to get to FCO airport by train. It's a quite residential area, full of nice and good coffee shops, pizzerias and trendy restaurants .... away from the classic spots (and sometimes tourist traps) in downtown Roma.
