On arrival we were placed into an annex room which was not a room that we had booked and paid for. The hotel told us that they were full but would move us the following day.This they did but it wasn't the best of starts for our short break.

Very courteous staff! I might just return there especially to be treated as courteously as we were this time. The hotel is very close to much everything in Rome, including easy access to public transportation. But the staff most of all!
