The property is clean and spacious, the kitchen works well, we appreciated having a clothes washer, since this was our second week in Italy and we needed to freshen up, and, very importantly, the bed was very comfortable. It's about a half hour or so from the central attractions of Rome by bus, which is what we wanted. We felt like we were living a real Roman life by shopping and dining in Nomentana. And it was good to have an escape from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area of Rome. We had a lovely stay in this property. It was bright, very clean, and well appointed with modern finishes and amenities. The wifi was good and in the heat of July, the air conditioning was a God send. It’s located only a few minutes from the Bologna Metro Station with excellent links to all of the historic sites and major tourist destinations. We also loved that it was away from the tourist crowds. The host, Tommaso was the friendliest, dearest man and was so helpful in pointing us in the direction of great restaurants and other places to visit. The property is currently listed as a two bedroom with a double bed and a double sofa bed. We arrived to a beautiful (and I’m told very comfortable) double bed in the bedroom, but only a fold out single cot more appropriate for a child rather than a 6’3” tall, 230lb, middle aged man like me. No matter, I still slept well by putting the mattress on the floor. I suspect the sofa bed is available, but you may need to specify in advance. I’m certain that Tommaso will be happy to get it sorted for you. Outside of that tiny little thing, it was great, and I would highly recommend this property to everyone. Our host was a lovely Italian couple named Tommaso and Anna. They were very sweet and willing to accommodate what we needed. Comfortable beds and modern feel to the apartment. Definitely worth your business. It is a liiiiiittle bit far from city center but the metro is easy enough to make short trips to tourist spots.
