“The problem was that this isn't a hotel, it is a bed and breakfast with a couple of bedrooms. When I arrived just after 3pm there was nobody there. The owner (who was a pleasant man) normally did not accept arrivals until 4pm. Also, it is located on the oldest street in town, a very, very steep heavily cobbled street only accessible on foot. It us very pretty but difficult to access with luggage. Having said that it is very pretty and my room was quaint but good.”

“We love this hotel! Our room was quite large and comfortable. We had a full set of windows that let in light and air. The hotel is on a quiet small side street in the old city. The hotel also has good air conditioning which is a relief when the weather gets hot in the summer. The reception staff are helpful and professional.”

“Super location literally steps from the ocean. Make sure your knees are worthy to hike stairs if you stay on upper floor. No problem just aware as they didn’t have elevator. Bathroom is tiny in room 12 (3rd floor?)which hey we’re in France 😎🤘room view was something else. Beds comfy and they kept property very clean. About a 15 minute pleasant walk to Saint Malo. There is a restaurant next door at L’antinea their other property. Delicious French cuisine as well as a nice breakfast buffet for……

“Mooie ruime gerenoveerde kamer. Formidabele ligging met uitzicht op strand en zee. Het ontbijt viel tegen. Slechts 1 keer ontbeten. Kwaliteit van producten was ondermaats. Roereieren uit pakje, en dat in een 4 sterrren hotel. Geen vers fruitsap, te weinig brood en werd niet bijgevuld enz. Het eten van een zogezegd ambachtelijk klaargememaakte pannekoek in de namiddag was ook een teleurstelling. Pannekoek was droog, taai en zonder smaak.”
