Comfortable character home near Rotorua lakefront, fast Wifi.

Our home is located close to the Waiteti Stream and the Ngongotaha lakefront park. Access to Lake Rotorua is an easy 2 minute stroll around the corner. Our home was originally built in the 1930's and we have enjoyed refurbishing it during the time that we have been the owners, all the while being careful to maintain its charm. It features 3 bedrooms, 1 large modern bathroom as well as 2 lounge areas and a modern kitchen. Each lounge areas has separate heating with one of these being a log fireplace. The property is completely fenced with lawn at the front and rear of the house for kids to enjoy. The house also has a lock-up garage.

Amazing home that had everything we needed and a little bit more. Spacious rooms and we loved the wood burner on a particularly cold night there. Home was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. Excellent area and one minute little stroll to the lakefront. Loved our stay here and would absolutely book again. Perfect Little Getaway
Everything pictured as advertised. Beautiful well kept home that offers every amenity, so you don’t have to worry about anything. Private backyard offers an area to dine outside or have a glass of wine at the end of the day. We enjoyed our stay.

we stayed here for 5 days. The house had everything we needed. The Neighbour's were quiet and felt very safe with high fencing and a high front gate. The lake and stream is very close by. My husband fished every day and caught 1 trout. You meet a lot of lovely people walking along the lake walkway.

Wonderful stay -- would do it again
We arrived after dark to find a cosy, comfortable, welcoming house. The back part where the bedrooms are is clearly old, but the owners have chosen to keep the character and charm of the old house (wood paneling, old-fashioned light switches) while modernizing the important bits. The new kitchen and bathroom were perfectly suited to our needs. Everything was clean and the neighborhood was very quiet and secure. Location was perfect for visiting the adventure attractions since Skyline, Velocity Valley, Canopy Tours, mini-golf and so on were just down the road. We only went into Rotorua city for restaurants or to get to the lakes on the other side. We really enjoyed our stay at this house and would be happy to do it again.

Great spot
This property has character, is clean, with comfy beds and everything you need. It is a 30 second walk to Rotorua Lake and has a great bath, Netflix, it's very well set up and reasonably priced. Recommended if you want to be close to the lake and 10 minutes drive from city centre.

A home away from home
We spent 3 wonderful nights in this cozy home. Very well equipped, comfortable beds, quiet and very clean. This cottage, near the shore was close to a major trout fishing area. We saw a 15” trout caught and released for being too small. Lots of great tourist attractions in all directions. The yard, front and back has outdoor seating and also a grill. The owner was there to greet us and offered us some helpful information about the local area. This home is perfect for a family. Thanks for a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Peaceful Holiday retreat
Tanya and her husband were excellent hosts meeting us on arrival and answering all our questions. The house is fantastic - luxurious bathroom with deep bath and great shower, soft comfortable blankets and beds, well appointed kitchen and we appreciated the dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer very much. The heat pump and fire with heat transfer system would be lovely in the colder months. The house has great indoor/outdoor flow with a front and back garden which is fully enclosed so we could let our two toddlers run around without issue. Highly recommend - exceptional value for money.
