"The property was in a nice location with a great view and the front desk staff was friendly. The room and furnishings were very dated and worn. The paint was chipped and peeling on all doors, there was mold on the box spring, and the smoke detector was more than 10 years old and needed to be replaced. The worst part of our stay was the fact that the bathroom was infested with sewer flies. I shared this feedback with the gentleman at the front desk who didn’t seem too concerned. It was a very disappointing experience. The photos on-line reflect something very different than reality. Hotels.com is damaging its brand by being affiliated with this property."

"Best hotel in Blanco by far. Came in for a wedding and the wedding coordinator booked a block of rooms at a different hotel but they did not have enough king suites and charged twice the price. Booked here and it was half the price, substantially nicer and had full amenities, free WiFi, a bar, free breakfast and some great people. Stuff was incredibly friendly and helpful."
