"We booked for 6 people but neither bed settee was made up. We eventually found some duvets and pillows but no clean sheets so opened a packet of new sheets we found in a room in the basement. The same with towels.The washing machine was on with a load of washing in it full of water. There was a pile of dirty bedding in a room in the basement. There were no instructions in the flat at all .The lights and other electrical systems were ridiculously complicated. Also no instructions about hot water...

Many restaurants are in easy walking distance including the 2 restaurants at the Burg Schwarzenstein. The apartment is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. "After a two week WWII historical tour, my son and I used this place to relax for a week, do laundry, and as an HQ for visiting Frankfurt-area universities and the Nürburgring (about an hour away). Had a lovely stay! Quiet, peaceful village. Beautiful view. Loved Cappicola pizza at Da Aldo Hauptstraße and Wiener schnitzel at restaurant Zum Adler. We bought groceries at Markt-Bäckerei, which is just a quick drive to the next village. Hope to return in the future."

"I arrived late, but I had received a message that the key was placed in a coded key box, so entry was straightforward. My room and bath was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower has excellent pressure. The breakfast selection is very good with plenty of choice of different foods, juices, yogurts and different types of freshly prepared eggs were offered. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. In summary, a very good stay and at a very reasonable price."
