The room was just ok - clean pillow, clean bed. The overall feel for the room was that it needed some TLC, maybe a good overhaul. Parking in the back of the inn felt like a game of Tetris. We stayed two nights. We left at 8am the first morning and came back at 10:30pm to find that housekeeping did not show at all. When I asked the owner about it I was given a variety of answers from "well it was only one night" to "maybe you're room was not put on the list". No real compensation or apology, just "we will treat you better next time." Yeah, I don't think so. I was desperate at the last minute as two other motels flaked out on me. Next time, I will pay more attention to other reviews.
I called the hotel 2 weeks before to confirm my reservation to which I was told it's fine. Saturday evening before I left New York I called to remind them I'd be there late and to have the heat on in the room and I was told no problem. Later I received an voicemail stating that they had no room for me. The annoyance is that hotels.com has my confirmation for my reservation, So the communication is almost non-existent.
I checked in at 3:30 pm and the cleaning lady had not been in and I had to leave at 4:20 pm. I did not have time to complain. I am thankful the second bed had not been used and some of the towels had not been used.
Everything including the room leans to the left. Structure is falling apart. Every time someone( any room) used water all you heard was the pipes bang. I would only use this as a last last resort and only pay $35.
It was definitely not worth 100 bucks, and thats 20 less than listed...it looked like someone had just thrown thin paint everywhere to cover the walls up, the tub was disgusting and NO HOT WATER! The mattress was way to soft and off balance. I woild NOT recommend staying here. Rough camping would be a step up!
I need antibiotics after staying here.
1. The room smelled like a wet ash tray
2. Someone took a dump and didnt flush the toilet
3. Checked for bed bugs, lifted the matress and found used gauze, stained yellow.
4. The matress was broken, it was like sleeping in a hammock.
This place needs to be condemned.
The bed was discsusting like stained and it was never washed. Burn holes in the bedding, in which its suppose to be non smoking in the rooms. There were somesort of bugs that kept biting us. Also there were dead flies and bugs all over in the bathroom.
It was fine for only the one night we needed. There were a few flies in our room which I could have done without. It was pretty basic, maybe a little below basic.
This place needed a LOT of work, and we didn't stay here. After checking in, not being able to get our vehicle TO our room, and then SEEING/SMELLING our room , we said NOPE!
Room 21. Had to air the place out. Not sure what the smell was. Dead bugs in bathtub. Many dents and a hole in the sheet rock. Hair clip on the floor (wasn't ours) my gf and I just needed a warm place to stay for 1 nite. Bed was comfortable and it was warm. Oh black hairs on the pillow. (Not ours). Paid $110. Should have been $30.
