"Perfect place and house"

"We spent a month at Maremar. Our only complaint is that our stay wasn't long enough. We can't wait to come back! Peter and Lucy are fabulous hosts and the property manager, Carmen, is wonderful to work with. On the practical side the home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's far enough from the center of towm to be peaceful but close enough to walk to the market. The location was perfect for day trips throughout the area. It's paradise! The views from the home are spectacular....

"Excellent stay. The house was lovely and stocked with all the dishes and glasses / pots and pans you could need. The coffee makers were ideal. The outdoor kitchen was amazing, we rarely used the indoor one. Also stocked with all the condiments you could wish for. Having said all that, there is a great beach bar/resto within 2 mins walk and clearly in the summer there are more. Jose the host was charming and accommodating when we had a flight delay."

"We were a group of 6 friends who hiked, played scrabble, did some sight-seeing, and enjoyed some good food and wine, all while looking out over the town of Begur and the sea. The view is fantastic! We took the same photo over and over, at sunrise, sunset etc. The villa is very well equipped. We found everything we needed in the spacious kitchen and it is just a short walk to a grocery store and numerous restaurants. The house accommodated the six of us quite well with some of us sharing a room....

"We were very satisfied with this property. A special advantage was the separate kind of outdoor kitchen were we spent most of the time. Kitchens are very well equiped. Communication with the manager(s) was perfect - friendly and fast. Thank you"

"This is a gorgeous house, with a beautiful pool overlooking the ocean. The house has air conditioning, is well appointed, and very comfortable. As there are many stairs, it may not be best for the oldest or youngest people. There is a beautiful steep hike to the nearby beach."

"House was lovely….multiple stories with a sea view from everywhere. Enjoyed the patios, jacuzzi and pool. Quiet area during the week, but neighborhood got much busier on the weekend. Only negative is the drive up/down the mountain. Thought it was a little treacherous on some of the curves and switchbacks if another vehicle was approaching in opposite direction. Manager and owner were very quick to respond to our questions. But those views….."

"When we arrived we were greeted in a friendly manner. Everything was as described or as you can see in the pictures. We especially liked the large pool, the outdoor dining area, the simple furnishings and the proximity to the sea. If you had any questions, you immediately got a friendly answer from the owner. We also found out that there are no pool towels and the cleanliness is not really good in some places. The location is very quiet and the beautiful beach is not overcrowded. For shopping...

"We had a lovely week in Imma’s house in Calonge. The pool was great and there was plenty of space inside and outside for us to enjoy. The house is in short driving distance of lots of beautiful beaches and places to visit. Imma gave us good recommendations for markets and places to eat."

"The property is gorgeous and is situated nicely with a great view of the valley and the water. The space is well-kept, roomy, and well-appointed, and stays quite cool with the windows open. We loved the pool and enjoyed a few dinners out on the terrace—the grill is great! Rooms are comfortable. The beaches and local sights are a very close drive, as are several grocery stores. The neighborhood is quiet and very peaceful. The owner was very responsive when we had some questions. We will...

"The location was up very high and very winding roads. Due to being up so high this made the weather unsettled. There wasn't any WiFi to the villa which we had to use the owners which didn't work by the pool. The pool was becoming quite dirty through the week. There are alot of steps to the villa so make sure you are fit!! Maybe if the weather had been better it would of made it more enjoyable. It was a nice villa just wouldn't stay there again. Tossa de mar is lovely!!!"
