SPA was very nice. The rooms were clean, but the hair dryer didn't work and couldn't be replaced. After visiting the spa, there were complications with drying my hair. I was given a very low-quality hair dryer that burned my hair.

I think there should be 2 parts to this : the hotel part is very dated and could use some upgrade, shower was smelly and not the cleanest I've seen. The outside of the hotel could also use a clean, not very appealing. Good breakfast buffet with local foods that are delicious. Staff was lovely and very helpful all around. The spa, pool, sauna and lobby areas are brilliant however and suit a multitude of needs and tastes. Pool area not quiet in the afternoons with kids, but to be expected in a family hotel so not a deal breaker.

Staff was great. Castle view I paid for, didn’t see the castle behind the shrubbery. No AC which we expected but also no ventilation. Couldn’t open window on ground floor for safety reasons so ended up with a downgraded room on 2nd floor so we could open door for air. Spa and pool was better than ...
