"Lovely hotel and spa - clean, nice rooms, bar and live music on one day we were here… One thing I would mention is that for late arrivals, please help arrange a taxi for guests coming from the train station in addition to providing information about places to eat after 9:30-10pm. "Overall my 11 year old son and I had a good week in the SOWELL HOTELS Mont Blanc & Spa. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent with well-prepared food and plenty of choice. The room was comfortable and the staff very helpful. The main down-side is how worn and dated the room and all of the communal areas are. I'm not sure when it received it's 4* rating, but the property feels quite aged with bathroom furniture, doors and walls all very worn with visible damage."

"This is a very small hotel, about 30 rooms, right at the foot of the ski slopes, with stunning views all round. Stayed there for a weeks skiing with a friend (the skiing is great there). The staff were all lovely, really helpful, hotel spotless, beautiful lounge and terrace, comfy dining room with log burner, and bar on the end of the hotel. "This is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Amazing breakfast and dinner were included with our stay. Convenient to main shopping and dining street and bus station. Only issue was lack of AC or even ceiling fans (they did provide a Dyson airblade which sort of helped) for climate control. The balcony slider provided some relief from the heat, but not enough for anyone sleeping in interior room of family suite."

"The hotel is easy to find and has an option for paid parking. The staff at the front desk was very friendly as was able to communicate in English. We stayed in the family room on the top floor with our three boys (ages 16, 13, 9) and they loved the bedroom nooks and the Pac-Man machine. The room was very clean. We were there on a very hot night in July though, and the room was very warm - it could use some fans during the hottest days. We enjoyed getting a drink at the bar and sitting in the small garden area outside. There’s a nice reception area in the lobby for drinks or playing games. The whole hotel was decorated really fun and was modern with a youthful energy. I would stay again. "

Overall, we did not enjoy the stay."
