"This charming house has good kitchen facilities - ideal for those who love to cook and enjoy good food. The location is very quiet and excellent for recharging the batteries and switching off from business. The sleep quality is also incredibly good. The bed is very comfortable and large. We recovered excellently within a very short time in the midst of the beautiful mountain landscape and the crystal clear air. We will definitely be back."

Be mindful that the last 15 km are on a dangerous mountain road without guardrail and any ability to pass any other car most of the time. Safe yourself a headache and skip this horrible experience."

All lots are corded side by side with minimal space but considering the proximity to activities no need to spend anytime at campsite other then sleep. "This auberge is situated in the centre of Castellane, with a river at the rear that you can swim in. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it, lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. There is a large rear shaded terrace which was quiet snd you could relax have a drink. Castellane has a friendly, busy but relaxed vibe, plenty to see and do. I would definitely stay again. Ask for a room on the rear so that it is hidden from the buzz of the square. "
