"Conveniently situated for our journey and also for refuelling and a supermarket. Clean, comfortable room and a good shower enabled a peaceful night's sleep. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. A kettle was available on request to make a hot drink. The tasty and filling breakfast was reasonable priced too. We have used this hotel many times and it has never disappointed."

"Lovely accommodation on a small farm. The couple who run it are delightful and very friendly and helpful. The room has it's own access door, so I was able to take my dog in and out without disturbing the house. It's quite remote,but satnav takes you right to the door, although I wasn't clear how to access on arrival as there were two houses, however both are owned by the same couple, so didn't take long to figure it out. The breakfast was the best I've had in a long time - omelette made with fresh eggs from their own chickens, charcuterie, cheese, bread, croissants, juice, coffee, preserves. Delicious! I also loved all the animals, donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks, rabbits. Simply fabulous 😍"

"We booked to fish the lake as we often just go fishing in France and it’s tranquil and peaceful, the lake itself isn’t massive and you can hit most of it from the road side, as long as your good at casting! Fishing wise we caught every day smallest carp around 1lb up to 23lb, with 2 other carp at 22 & 20lb as well as quite a few upper doubles. Depths wise far bank 2ft road side 7-9ft, overall a really good place and worth visiting. The carp do take Bollie’s, we mainly used and caught on wafters semi buoyant bollie’s. Overall a lovely little place and very quiet as well."

"Tucked away in a small village the gite is quiet and private. The owners are helpful and on hand but never intrusive. Their lovely dog liked to pay the odd visit too. The gite was spotlessly clean and everything was provided, we didnt need to purchase anything extra. It is quite rural but le Mans and plenty of other towns and villages are easy to get to via car with quiet local roads. Highlights of our stay were visiting le Mans, Mayenne, Abbey de l'Epau, Evron, Laval and plenty of local markets. Highly recommended for a holiday break with or without children."

"Lovely little place for a quick stop off before heading to Calais. Be warned that not a lot of places were open on Sat and Sun in July. "
