Loved the location of this property! Had a work conference at The Salt Palace and the Hyatt Regency Hotel and walking there was a breeze. I also enjoyed walking to other restaurants, coffee shops and retail stores close by; when I couldn’t walk ordering a Lyft was cheap and convenient.

Great location and property; terrible property management
I stayed here for 5 nights and the location of the property was perfect--directly across the street from the convention center where I was attending a conference. Everything I needed was in walking distance and the location just couldn't have been better. The property itself was great as well. It was clean and well decorated. The bed and furnishings were comfortable. The only issue I encountered was that I couldn't find the silverware or a hair dryer (both were in drawers that weren't clearly marked and/or tucked under where I couldn't see it) and the ice maker in the refrigerator wasn't working. As great as the property was, the management was terrible. While I received entry instructions on time, none of it ended up being helpful because the contact person was unresponsive. I arrived around 6:00, well after check-in time, and as instructed, I buzzed the number to be let into the building. After five minutes with no answer, I tried again. Still nothing. I called the phone number of the contact, and it went straight to voicemail. I then emailed and immediately received an out of office response that the property manager was on vacation and would be gone until after I left. I eventually had to wave down a resident of the building to let me in. I obviously don't begrudge anyone a well-deserved vacation, but they really should have provided a back-up contact for when they'd be out of town.

3rd time staying here — location and space is great
This was my third time staying at this location. It seems to be under new management and the improvements to the furnishings and info provided have only improved. My only issue was the check in process did not go smoothly. No one answered to let us in the door. That was stressful. A delivery person finally let us in. And we were only given one roll of toilet paper for a week — and two women. That was not adequate and it was not rectified when we reported the issue. So we had to buy our own. Other than that customer service flub the place is fantastic! Just bring an extra roll of TP ;)

Second stay
This is my second stay at this location. The location can’t be beat. It’s airy and bright. It wasn’t as clean as it usually is but that’s because we asked to be let in early and the cleaning crew did their best to power clean and accommodate us so we were fine with it not being as clean as it would have been had we not been up a creek without our luggage. All that to say it’s a great place and the management went out of their way to help us in a tough situation by letting us check in early. We will rent this location again next year when we come back.

Cool place but not managed well and STOP THE BEEPING!!
The owner has done a fabulous job with the decor of this place. It’s top notch!!! It’s clearly been decorated professionally. Absolutely loved it! But property management firm needs work. I know because I also own a property in a vacation resort elsewhere so I’m fully aware of renter expectations. We were greeted with floors that had not been cleaned, sticky counter tops in the kitchen, and a bathroom that needed a little more Lysol scrub on the toilet and shower. That then makes you wonder about your sheets but all was ok there. I almost did not book this place because of previous reviews about cleanliness. But I thought that surely this issue would have been fixed after others had commented on cleanliness. No such luck! After one night in my week stay, the neighbors alarm starting beeping in sequences of 5 quick beeps every 5 seconds FOR 3 DAYS! You could hear it all over our place even when the TV was on. I called the property manager the first night around 9pm but he didn’t answer his phone and I couldn’t leave a message because his voicemail was full. What property manager has a full voicemail?!?! That is their lifeline. I was forced into sending an email. Which was answered 13 hours later stating that the HOA had no way to access that apartment and they couldn’t stop it. So sleep wasn’t on my family’s agenda because the beeping made it impossible. I then sent another email the next day about the beeping to the property manager - no answer. I sent another email on the third day of no sleep to the property manager. This time he actually did something. Although he stated in his previous email that he contacted the HOA he obviously had not. Because this time he said the HOA contacted the owners. Why wasn’t that done the first time?!! How do you know that wasn’t a faulty fire alarm or carbon monoxide detector?!?! Anyway the beeping finally stopped on night number 3. Sleep never felt so good. Checkout was challenging in that I checked the info on the app but maybe because I was checking out on that day they had already locked me out so I couldn’t see what the code was so I could lock the keys up properly in their lockbox. Again - poor property management. Easy enough fix though. I just left the garage door openers and keys in the unit and sent an email to the property manager as to why. I’m sure he found my email eventually. All in all, I highly recommend staying here if the owner hires a new property manager. I know I would if it were my place.

Check In Slightly Confusing
Overall this property is great. The location is fantastic with plenty of things to do all within walking distance. It was also clean and had all the amenities as described in the listing. The only thing that was not ideal was the check in process. The check in instructions tell you that the key, fob, and garage opener are in a lock box. However there were several lock boxes in the location and this one is unmarked. Also, the garage opener will be inside the apartment, not in the box so that's a little confusing. Also, the property contact could not be reached after several phone calls back to back so I had to figure it out myself. Like I said previously, the property is great and I would definitely recommend staying here, but keep in mind the check in process as I described and you'll be fine.

Cute Quirky Spot Close to Everything
We really enjoyed staying in this property on our first visit to SLC. The building is walkable from a ton of restaurants and bars and having the covered parking was such an added bonus. We found the building to be fairly quiet. We rarely ran into other tenants and there was only some light noise on the weekend. The unit itself was great and had a quirky layout. It was a perfect amount of space for a couple. The kitchen was fully stocked and had all the tools/utensils we needed. The only frustration with the kitchen was that the ice maker was not working and they didn't let us know ahead of time. The rest of the unit was also stocked well. Lots of towels, blankets, shower supplies, etc. The laundry was an added bonus and the sofa was quite comfortable. The downstairs tv has a Chromecast and you can Airplay to the tv upstairs. Our biggest complaint by far would have to be the beds. They were not very comfortable at all and we both had a tough time getting a good night's rest (we gave both beds a shot). The larger bed was lofted and was much higher than I anticipated, so if you're not super limber, I would recommend using the full bed that's on a normal frame. As frustrating as the bed situation was, we really did have a nice stay at this apartment. It was a great home base for our trip and we were able to cook great meals and enjoy time with friends around the living room. The property definitely still earned its 5 stars, just maybe bring your own pillow!

Overall good stay
The instructions to get in were a little confusing as the garage door openers are inside the unit, not the lockbox, and you have to go press a button inside the garage to get into the garage with your car. The language there could be a little better. The place is great, was clean, convenient location and we liked the secured parking. Could have used 2 more towels but other than that, we were happy- I love the decor/style of the place!

Great location and awesome loft
This place is very cozy and awesome. The manager was very responsive. There was a random issue that popped up with a hard wired carbon monoxide detector misbehaving and the manager scrambled to get it resolved on a holiday weekend and he made sure is got resolved quickly and the rest of my stay was perfect. I would stay there again 10/10.

Great location...BUT!!!
The location was great & the property had so much potential, but our experience was awful! The place was really filthy! We arrived late Saturday evening, tired after a long days drive. We walked around checking the place out & it looked just like the pictures posted online. We were thrilled. After using the bathroom, we noticed some things, like the floors looked a little dirty. We started looking around more closely & realized it wasn’t just the bathroom. The bedrooms didn’t look clean either. We called the property manager to let him know. He said he’d send someone over early the next morning to take a look & vacuum. We decided to sweep the entire loft & couldn’t believe how bad it was. We were just settling in around 10:00 o’clock when the music started. We weren't aware there was a bar/restaurant directly below the property that played live music until 2:00 a.m. The line waiting to get in was directly below our windows & although it sounded like everyone was having a great time, we were so tired from a long drive & just wanted to sleep. Luckily it only happened that first night. My husband & I were going to be sleeping in the queen size loft bed, our daughter the full size bed. When we got ready to go to bed, things got really interesting. The queen size loft bed & all the area around it was so unsanitary, we were unable to use it. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch & my daughter & I shared the full size bed. The next morning, the cleaning person arrived. We showed her our concerns & she agreed the loft needed to be cleaned but due to the fact it was Mother’s Day, she’d only be able to vacuum. We were also planning to attend a Mother’s Day event & would be gone most of the day, so didn’t have much time to deal with our situation either. Earlier that morning, my husband went to make a pot of coffee & the coffee filter in the coffee pot was full of moldy, hardened coffee grounds. It was going from bad to worse. That evening, after being gone all day, my daughter & I ended up stripping the linens from the beds, laundered them, and while they were washing, cleaned the area around the loft bed. The loft bed was so difficult to make, we figured that's why no one cleaned it to begin with. We really should have left & were stupid to stay. It was just overall a pretty gross, bad experience. I sent Evolve Vacation Rentals an email, including pictures, on May 20, 2021, letting them know about our experienced. Never heard back.
