The photos of the hotel made it look much better than it actually is. Both the exterior and interior were quite underwhelming compared to what was advertised. The location was convenient, but the surrounding area didn’t feel very safe. The front desk staff was helpful, which was a plus. However, the ongoing carpet renovations left multiple areas dirty, and the breakfast was pretty basic with options like hard-boiled eggs, toast, oatmeal, cereal, and a waffle maker. Additionally, the nearby street was very noisy, and the insulation was poor, making it difficult to sleep. Overall, I was disappointed with my stay. The convenience and helpful staff were the only positives in an otherwise unsatisfactory experience.

The staff was really friendly and very accommodating. There was some computer problem at the time of check-in but they got us our room key and we got settled while they worked it out. The pool was clean and inviting. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

The Park Inn was a pleasant surprise -- an unpretentious hotel that offers good value for travelers. My room was comfortable and clean -- Ganeesh (at the front desk) was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Nothing fancy here, just well-executed and by folks who take pride in running their business. I'll be back on my next trip through town!

The place is close to both downtown Salt Lake City and the Great Salt Lake. It's close to the highway and next to a gas station, so it's very convenient for travellers.
