- This welcoming, single-storey, inviting holiday home is part of a friendly complex of lodges in a tranquil location beside the scenic River Lynher, with great shared facilities. Sleeping five guests, the two-bedroom hideaway nestles just 3 miles from Saltash and 8.5 miles from Plymouth. For days out, head down to the coast at Whitsand Bay (12.5 miles) or visit Downderry Beach and Cawsand Beach, both of which are popular spots on the Rhame Heritage Coast. Head out in to the countryside and visit Dartmoor National Park (14.5 miles) or Cornwall’s walker's paradise Bodmin Moor (12 miles). The Ocean City of Plymouth (8.5 miles) beckons with attractions like the National Marine Aquarium and the historic Mayflower Steps, from which the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for the New World in 1620.
Make your way into this charming wooden lodge in to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a high ceiling, chic decor and ample space for all. The comfortable lounge has been arranged with soft seating that you can sink into as you congregate around the TV to watch your favourite shows together. There is also an inviting wood burner surrounded by exposed brick to fire up on chilly evenings. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to cook up a feast for your party and benefits from a door leading to the outside space - there is a separate dining area, perfect for gathering round for a sociable meal. When you are ready to turn in for the night, the lodge has two bedrooms that are perfect for a family. The master double bedroom is ideal for parents, while the bunk bedroom, with an extra single bed, is great for younger ones. In addition to the well-appointed family bathroom, there is a convenient extra WC.
Bask out in the sunshine on your private patio and enjoy evening tipples and al fresco meals at the picnic bench while the little ones play on the shared lawn. Other shared facilities here include a heated outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court for competitive afternoons together. There is also parking for one car on the private driveway outside the lodge, plus additional parking in the shared, on-site car park.
