“Amazing experience right outside of the Redwood Forrest park. You literally get to sleep surrounded by Redwoods! The town of Trinidad was beautiful less than a mile away and full of little restaurants and shops. The sunset on the coast was a must see and something we will never forget ”

“I rate the cleanliness of a room by how dirty the floors are. The floors were very dirty. Tub edges were mouldy. Not a great area. The waitress at the restaurant across the way said she definitely hurried to her car at the end of her shift. The room was ok. Updated but the sheets were rough. I know that super 8 is a budget hotel. But i have been in nicer motel 6s. The whole vibe was not great.”

On their recommendation, we ate dinner at the Humboldt Bay Bistro, which was delightful and very tasty. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here, just be sure to read the fine print! I was surprised to realize the bathrooms were shared; not a problem, as all three were clean and wonderfully appointed after all.”

“The place was very clean, host were very friendly and accommodating, the view......THE VIEW from our room (same view from common area and yard) was spectacular. There is a huge rock with easily a hundred sea lions. You can hear them bark! You can see them with the naked eye but not great. They have binoculars for you to see them better. The waves, sea lions and very close to sue-Meg state park (had a lot of coastal trails that are a must, they provided a great synopsis on all the trails in the……
