We arrived about 6 hours before Hurricane Kay! Although we lost power for a few hours we never felt unsafe during and after the hurricane. Internet and cell service were an issue but that was everywhere, not just Playa del Paraiso. The staff was accommodating although our needs were minimal. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for an absolutely gorgeous view of the San Felipe lights by night and the beautiful Sea of Cortez by day. The master Room has a Jack cuzzy, perfect to relax after bing all day in a beach or at the malacon drinking and dancing.
